Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking is helping reduce American's energy costs. It also means bringing industry to remote canyons and mesas throughout the west where they build roads through habitat, create hazardous wastewater, and rattle the fragile petroglyphs that line the walls of Nine Mile Canyon in Utah.
