Labyrinth
in the Ruins
Aztec
Ruins National Monument is what remains of a once-thriving
community of Ancient Puebloans in present-day New Mexico.
The complex of living quarters, storage areas, passegeways,
and kivas once contained between 450-500 rooms, and was
occupied for nearly 200 years. Regional climate change
is strongly believed to have forced the inhabitants to
relocate.
