Putting one's self in the scene

I have to give great credit to all of the photographers before me that whet my appetite to go to interesting places, and make one's own adventures. The photos I once saw of the Cascade Mountains in an old National Geographic made me want to go there and explore those mountains, and so I did.

The American Southwest is a whole other treasure trove of destinations and experiences - too many for one lifetime.
