Pueblo
Bonito, the largest ruin in Chaco Canyon
Pueblo
Bonito, once had over 650 rooms, and was home to the Ancestral
Peubloans people of the American Southwest. A portion
of the ruins were crushed in 1941 when large slabs from
the canyon wall fell upon part of the ruins, destroying
over 40 rooms on the far left in this photo.
