Open room with three doors at Pueblo Bonito.

In the well-preserved rooms of Peublo Bonito, you can see the remains of timbers which once supported ceilings and floors. Larger beams extended crossways underneath the wood supports visible in this photo. Wood fibers and reeds were placed between the long wooden supports before they were sealed in mud and plaster.
