Hungo
Pavi great house ruins at Chaco Canyon.
The
140 room great house ruin of Hungo Pavi is located 1.8
miles from Pueblo Bonito in Chaco Culture Historic Park.
It contains one elevated kiva and one great kiva, built
around 900AD. Numerous petroglyphs were left by the inhabitants,
and later by historic visitors on the rock wll behind
the ruins.
