Pueblo Arroyo in Chaco Canyon
The
ancient ruins of the Pueblo Arroyo great house are within
a mile of the largest Chacoan ruin, Pueblo Bonito. The
kiva in the foreground is referred to as a keyhole kiva.
Each family group had their own kiva, with larger, great
kivas located nearby for large community gatherings.
