These
Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep inhabit the canyons and mesas
of Colorado National Monument. I was startled to hear
what initially sounded like a gunshot echoing from farther
up the canyon, only to realize that it was two rams butting
their skulls together. I later saw them cracking heads
and horns. Unfortunately, they were behind a tree at the
time, so I couldn't get a good photo.
