A natural
drama, set in stone. The monolithic stone spires and formations
of Monument Canyon along the eastern edge of Colorado
National Monument create an otherworldly landscape. The
canyons and mesas to the south and west, and the escarpment
called the Book Cliffs to the north and east form the
two sides that define the Grand Valley of Western Colorado.
