Caves
and Hollows in the Puye Cliff Dwellings, New Mexico
The caves
and hollowed-out areas along the cliff face at Puye Cliff
Dwellings were once accessed from the rear of the adobe
brick structures that were once located along the cliff
face. The round holes visible above once held the support
beams for holding the roofs and ceilings of the dwellings.
