Guide and Story Teller at Puye Cliff Dwellings, New Mexico

The visitor center staff and park guides are all members of the local Pueblo tribe of Santa Clara. Their history and ancestry are connected to this part of the American west, from ancient times. They still practice rituals of their forebears. These ruins once served as a playground for our guide when she was a child, before the park was established.
