Pueblo
Bonito from the petroglyph trail, Chaco Culture National
Historical Park
The ruins
of Pueblo Bonito reflect the spirit and ingenuity of the
first Americans. The people that built this were descended
from the Clovis people that lives here first, then after
a prolonged period of drought, went on to become the Hopi,
Pueblo, and other tribes that still exist in this region,
and still follow many of the rituals of their forebears.
