Jackrabbit
at Chaco Culture National Historical Park
Among
the wild inhabitants of Chaco Canyon are a healthy population
of jackrabbits. Their sharp eyes, big ears, and quick
feet are their best defenses against mountain lions, coyotes,
rattlesnakes, and large raptors. No wonder you never see
them look relaxed!
