Tumbleweed Tangle in Chaco Canyon
Tumbleweeds,
a timeless symbol of the old west, are actually an invasive
species - the seeds of which were probably brought to
America in ships from across the Atlantic. The actual
name for this successful transplant is the Russian Thistle.
