Jumble of rooms at Pueblo Bonito, Chaco Canyon
The
rocks in the foreground collapsed from the cliff behind
Pueblo Bonito in 1941, crushing a portion of the ruins.
The Chacoan people were aware that this might happen one
day, when they first built in this location. Fortunately,
no one was hurt when the masssive rock slabs collapsed.
