Ruins of long wall at Chetro Ketl in Chaco Canyon
The
ruins of a long multi-storied wall at Chetro Ketl is thought
to have been influenced by the builiding styles of the
Mesoamerican cultures in Mexico and Central America. Evidence
of trade with those cultures include remains of colorful
tropical parrots found within the ruins of the Chacoan
great houses.
