A trail along the rim of Monument Canyon provides a stunning overlook of the Grand Valley of Western Colorado. This viewpoint is at the end of a mile long trail that lies along the edge of Colorado National Monument. The monument is located outside of Fruita, Co, and is just north of Grand Junction. Behind me when I took this photo are the dramatic spires and formations that lie within Monument Canyon.
