The road
into Colorado National Monument zigzags its way from the
lowlands of the Grand Valley up onto the mesas that overlook
the dramatic features and geological formations that define
the area. A multitude of hikes, campgrounds, and viewpoints
make the park accessible and enjoyable to people of all
abilities and experience. The monument lies about 15 miles
north of Grand Junction in Western Colorado.
