Sunset on the Black Buttes, from the saddle of Mt. Baker, Washington state

Fading alpenglow on the Black Buttes. The Black Buttes are part of the eroded core of an anient volcano that once existed where Mt. Baker does now. The older volcano preceeded Mt. Baker in time and exceeded it in size.
